Simon Says Stamp and Show a Tag!

I LOVE making Tags and was excited that is what Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge was calling for!
But EEEK! Where has the week gone?  I usually get on the stick and get things done by Wednesday for the challenges, but here it is already late Saturday afternoon and I'm squeaking in.
All but one thing here is from Ranger or Tim Holtz product line -- Ideology, Stamp sets and Grunge paper and Alterations Dies.  AND you can buy every bit of it from Simon here!
Kraft glassine paper was die cut with Donna Salazar's Rose Creations die, stamped with Adirondack Pigment ink and lots of yummy spritzing from Perfect Pearls Mists.  I cut the leafy bit from Regal Crest Alterations die and used Gold Adirondack Paint Dabbers to color.
The technique I used on the tag was Tim's Paint Dabber Resist which is from his book A Compendium of Curiosities.  I sponged a lot of different Ranger Distress inks in some of my favorite colors like Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick, Peeled Paint, Broken China, Spiced Marmalade and Dusty Concord.  And my favorite for stamping backgrounds is the Pumice Stone color.  The set used was Papillon CMS#106.
Finishing touches were to use Black Soot to edge the tag, an Ideology Plaquette and Fanciful Button on top of the flower.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and thank you for stopping by!
Love to read your comments and thank you to those who come by regularly!  MUCHO Stamping Hugs to y'all.
