What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 114

Yeah!  It's Wednesday - work week almost half over!  I was busy last night working on a project and here's the resulting "mess" still needing cleaned up.
EDIT - I posted this so early I wasn't quite awake and forgot to put the link to Julia's blog so you can join WOYWW too!  Sorry about that!
I was working on a card for the Simon Says Stamp and Show a Tim Holtz technique (check out my previous post) and I was busy spreading inks, using stains and stamping!
By the way, if you haven't used any of the new Distress Stains - the Picket Fence and Black Soot are just awesome.  I love my colors and especially some of the new ones, but I really liked the black soot on the bookplate Art Part you can see below.  Really helped pull the Aged, shabby look together.

Hope you have a fab Wednesday and get lots of stamping done!

You're right about the Soot D stain - it looks amazing. Your desk is pretty inviting and sort of mojo-in-flow looking..how lovely!
Linking back to WOYWW is great of you - but you need never feel obliged...there's no rule about it!

Looks like you've been having a cracking good time on that desk. I'm another one who hasn't tried the stains but I'm getting into using the DI's more, love to water colour with them.

HI Deb..thanks for stopping by and leaving some love on my blog... I bought the pro markers 'cause they were cheaper in South Africa than the copics... there seems to be a new alcohol pen out now... called SPECTRUM NOIR its currently available at Joannasheen.com in the UK... a friend of mine who has both Pro markers and Copics.. just got her stash from the UK...and she says they work perfectly with each other as well as in combination with the other 2 pens... well worth looking at... they cost around 25 pounds for 24 pens... certainly a good price even with our exchange rate
have a great day
